Pure shenanigans!

Mommy signed up for a winter running series a few weeks ago.  Yesterday was the first of the 3 races.  It was snowing like mad when we headed out to Saltair.  It snowed the entire time we were there and nearly all day.  Somehow everyone survived and even had a good time.

5k, 10k, 15k.  Let's hope it is nice weather for the next two races.

Camping out in the basement.

Since the basement got somewhat cleaned up last weekend and I put the spare queen mattress set on top of the pool table, Skyler wanted to "camp out" downstairs all week.  Last night, he got his wish!  Both he and I slept on top of the mattress that's on top of the pool table.  It's at least 5 feet off of the ground!  I don't believe either one of us slept very well, today is definitely going to be a nap day after a 5:30 wake up call...

I also hung up my priceless John Deere pool table lamp last weekend.  Skyler will now show us the different JD logos.

He continued pointing out the differences all the way around the lamp.  Did you know that the JD logo has changed 8 times since 1837?  Skyler does!

Frosty's Fat Bike race wrap up.

Swimming lesson.

It was my turn to take him to swim lessons last Friday.  He's doing amazing!  His teacher asked if he wanted me to walk him off of the diving board and he said yes!  He dove off a second time all by himself.  He was SO proud of himself!
