Thanksgiving 2023.

Altair's brother Roger and his wife Tarn joined us yesterday.  A great meal and time was had by all.

His first ELT mission!

I've never seen the kid move so fast! He got the call a little after 5:00pm and we had him to the CAP van by 6:05.  They headed to the Bountiful Skypark Airport to find the Emergency Locator Transmitter in an airplane.  The owners of said airplane didn't seem to care that they had accidentally tripped the ELT.  One of the cadets climbed inside the plane and reset the ELT.  He was home by 8:45.  Mission accomplished!

Selling wreaths.

His squadron sold nearly 200 wreaths yesterday at the gun show!  It was my first time attending a gun show and wow, there are so many people that shouldn't own any guns.  Truly terrifying!

He has a SAREX (search and rescue exercise) tomorrow morning first thing and then he's selling wreaths for wreaths across America to help fund his squadron at noon at the gun show.
