Happy Birthday Dad!

My Dad is 79 today!  Wow!  We surprised him with a chicken fried steak from Black Bear Diner yesterday at lunch.  It was really nice to have 3 generations together enjoying a meal.  Happy Birthday Dad, thanks for all that you do and continue to do for us!

Look what I bought!

Ever since I was 10 years old, I have dreamed of owning a Caterpillar track type tractor.  That dream came true last Friday!  1949 Caterpillar D2!

Skyler running the D4 while Ken runs the clutch to pull start her.

First start in 35 years!!  WOW!!

The plan is to keep it over at Ken's farm for a while and eventually get it here.  I need to enlist the help of Grandpa to make 60 oak street pads for the tracks. 😒
