Chaos.

We attended a classmate's birthday party at "Dave and Busters" downtown.  Oh. My. God.  It was SO loud!

Think he's close enough?!

Human Body.

Skyler's class started studying the human body this week in class.  Part of their study is to trace their bodies on paper and cutout all of the individual organs and paste them into place.

Artemis!

Busy cutting.

Intestines!

Part 2.

We're about halfway around Glenwild Loop.

Mommy getting pics of the leaves.

My dream home! :(

Or this one!

Maybe this one?
Bridge!
I was following him and taking picture.  The kid is a natural, he was picking the same lines as I was!
Entering the sagebrush section.
Finals stretch!  Snyderville off in the distance.
What a great day!

Glenwild up at Park City.

We headed up Parley's Canyon early to beat the crowds and rode the Glenwild Loop Trail.  6.33 miles and Skyler did pretty great once we got going.

South view toward Kimball Junction.
We're moving.
They're both on the trail here somewhere.  Skyler started throwing a fit.
I took advantage of the wait and enjoyed the view.  It took Skyler 30 minutes to go the first .8 mile.
Informative sign.
Still being grumpy about the rocks.  Walking instead of riding.
Downhill portion.  He was doing much better!
Here comes Mommy!
The Glenwild community.  Think how much the HOA fees are!
Walking down a switchback.
Maples are turning.
Still walking.  I caught him running alongside his bike at one point!

Gorgeous single track!
Leaves sticking to the tires.
Walking.

Happy!
Snack time.  Pumpkin Spice Cliff Bar.
Part 2 tomorrow if the damn upload speed works...

A trip out for some pears.

We didn't make it to Cross E Ranch yesterday.  Too much money for too little BMX action.  Instead, we headed South to Peterson Family Farm to get a box of pears so Mommy could can some homemade fruit cocktail using all of our peaches, wild canal grapes, and now the Utah pears.

Playing on and old Farmall FC tractor.  Great clouds!

Tire time.

The school playground has a few old tires for the kids to play with.  Skyler seems to always be finding new ways to use them for his entertainment.  Thursday afternoon, he was rolling over the tops of them like leap frog.

Ready...

Go!

Last night at pickup, he was rather upset that he no longer could fit inside of the tire!

The constant companionship.

Both black and white pets are constantly aware of what I am up to and when they get to eat.  Around 4:30 every day, I get this look:

"Time for snacks?!"

Eager to learn.

He's been loving school so much lately that he wanted to get a head start on his computer work this morning.

Complete with headphones.  He read and answered the questions to two stories before it was time to leave for school.

A party in the park.

We attended Alec's 7th birthday party Saturday afternoon.  Despite the tornadic winds, it was a good time.  The theme was LEGO and Lindsey (his Mom) did an incredible job!

They all got a dino kit to assemble.

Magnetic Lego building station.  Lindsey put a tiny magnet in each brick making them magnetic.
I ended up helping him because he was kind of giving up.
Waiting for his turn to hit the piñata.
Not shown, the lego mini figure blindfold.
BAM!  Direct hit!
Again!
Alec finished it off and all the kids ran to get the candy & toys inside.
Some little boy punched the mylar "7" balloon and it took off.  The kids all watched it float of in amazement!

Goodbye 7 balloon.  Sorry wildlife...  :(
