'Tis the season.

To start Halloween!  Even though it's nearly 95 degrees here, it feels like Fall.  We started our Halloween season off yesterday by seeing "Hotel Transylvania 2" in the movie theater.  Skyler has been looking forward to it for nearly a month and I think he enjoyed it other than getting a little fidgety towards the end.  It was a pretty good little film!  Mommy and I laughed throughout and it was a nice distraction from the hot day.

I was trying to get the obligatory movie poster pic but he was more interested in making faces.

Said Skyler last night.  Upon further examination, I also found that the bathroom exploded!

Because he found his bag from the dentist!  Every toothpaste available was open!  I get to clean the bathroom today...

A what?!

Last week I had a neighbor ask if we had seen any crawfish in our ditch.  I was highly skeptical that there were any to begin with.  Not anymore!  Saturday morning while walking Maizey I spotted this down at the park!

He was dead, laying on the concrete storm drain that leads to the canal.  It was a little longer than a pop can, it looked like a mini lobster!

He's obsessed with Star Wars lately.  Good thing the new movie is coming out soon.

We went to our friend's place last night for a little adult socialization.  They have a horse & Skyler got to ride him!

I've been following the restoration progress of the B-29 "Doc" for quite some time now.  This morning they were able to fire all 4 of the engines for the first time!  There was even a live broadcast of the event.  We'll have to wait for someone to upload a video to YouTube, but it was pretty awesome to see history being made!

Meaning N is the number of tractors you already have, and + 1 means you always have room for one more!  Case in point, I picked up this 317 last weekend for a song.  It didn't run at the time, but it does now!  Yay for N+1!

My 39th birthday is a week from today.  Since Grandma is going on a booze cruise and won't be here, we had an early celebration yesterday afternoon.  A huge thank you to everyone, I really don't need anything since Mommy bought me a new car and now I have a sixth tractor.  Life is good!

A couple highlights.  Not shown, my Sister gave me a Ford Fiesta license plate frame too!
