Productive Saturday.

 We got the garden tilled, planted a few things, and Skyler helped me to get the loader tractor running.

He tilled the entire garden for the first pass and I tilled it for the second pass.

The carburetor has an electric fuel shutoff solenoid and we traced the problem to the solenoid.  Now she runs like a top again.

So long tree.

The Bradford Pear tree that grew from a seed in place came down yesterday.  Never plant (or just let one grow in place) a flowering pear tree, they are trash trees!

Monday, after I scheduled it for removal next week.

Sueprise! He showed up yesterday afternoon at 3:35.  He said he had an extra hour.

50 horsepower chipper made quick work of the branches.

Another B-29 post!

Or at least B-29 adjacent. We headed out to the Historic Wendover Airfield Museum first thing Saturday to volunteer for their "work day".  Skyler was tasked with cleaning some historic vehicles while Altair and I started out paining, and finished up cutting UV protection film for 135 window panes.

B-29 "Doc" got his original radar test squadron livery back over the winter.  Time to do another B-29 model?
