Eccles Wildlife Center.
On July 5th, we ventured north to see what the Center looks like in summer.
He was reluctant to go, but turned into quite the explorer by the time we were ready to leave.
Radar dome in the distance.
We had the place to ourselves.
Bullfrog tadpole.
White breasted Ibis. He's not white in summer we were told.
Mill pond calm.
Surprisingly, no mosquitoes!
Flight path.
Fire fighting helicopter.
Like the B-29 carrying the X-1!
The ranger said ospreys are rare here in summer.
Fish getting a sightseeing tour.
And is showing it off.
Osprey has a fish.
Frog eggs.
Turtle!
Skyler using "dual vision" with the binoculars.
We took advantage of the cool 84 degree day.
Trail looks a bit different in summer.
Green!
Herron nesting poles and a fire in the distance.
