Backyard pump track, version 2.0

I managed to finish our second backyard "pump track" Sunday.  Skyler was so thrilled to help trim up the sequoia and run the branches through the chipper.  He must have ridden a thousand laps when we finished it!

Taking a break while whistling through his new bottom teeth.

Lunch stop.  He was supervising Mommy while she re-did the garden steps.
Time to ride!
Concentration.
First thing after school yesterday,  "let's ride!"
He's getting pretty good!

Cross E ranch with Artemis!

Saturday afternoon, we met up with Artemis and her Mom to enjoy the sights and sounds of Cross E ranch in North Salt Lake.  The kids had a wonderful time while the adults got to stand around and talk.

(Again, photos not in the correct order, grrr!)

Skyler buried Artemis in the corn pit.

Hay ride.  I helped sell this tractor to the ranch years ago.  :)

Artemis sporting her day of the dead makeup enjoying a caramel apple.

Slide!

Burying Artemis!

A dozen donuts to go!

Getting ready to slide.

Delicious Black Angus cattle!

This corn had to be re-planted a month after the initial planting due to a planter error.  As a result, it was mighty short!

Skyler the witch!

He too got a caramel apple.

Delirious fun!

Slide!

Artemis the witch!

Leanin' on the old top rail together.

The shortest corn maze I've ever been to.

The kids enjoyed it though.

Mmm!

Hay ride.

Skyler with his punch card in the maze.

Mommy went down the slide?!

Pigs all settled in for the night.

Beef!

Cottonwoods!

We walked along the Parkway in Murray yesterday morning to enjoy the autumn colors of the cottonwood trees.
(The new magic iPhone 8 isn't cooperating with Blogger so these are in no particular order.)
Yellow!

Sunlight reflected leaves.

This tree was just starting to peak, note the brown hues.

The early morning light was nice.

Nice sky contrast.

Incredible!

Losing leaves rapidly.
Sun peeking thru the trees.

Skyler on the playground.

WOW!

Rays of sunshine.

Snack time.

River view.  It was low and there was lots of water fowl.

Running ahead.

Green contrasts with yellow.  What a great color combo, someone should capitalize on that paint scheme.  :)

Yellow ochre if Bob Ross were here.
Bob Ross was here.

Goofy face.

Happy face!

Waxy sun reflection against a cobalt sky.
