Finished!
I've been woking on this F-16 off and on for the better part of 2 months. This color scheme goes back to the YF-16 in 1974 and the "Viper Demo Team" chose to paint their jet in this combination in honor of the 50th anniversary of the F-16.
This was a fun one to paint!

An afternoon at Snowbird.
It had been 10(!) years since we visited Snowbird resort. Skyler was only 3 last time and he didn't remember much of it. This time, he was highly engaged! What a great afternoon!
(Blogger just updated their software, now there is no way to upload pics in order, sigh...)
New restaurant at 11,000 feet.
Tram cars were replaced a few years ago.
Tram ticket prices are now nearly $50 per person.
$9.00 slice of pizza at the top.
Lovely Friday afternoon at the terrace.
Looking down toward Cliff Lodge.
Valley view.
New tram drive motor! Old one was 1,750 HP, new one looks to be 2,000 HP from what info I can find.
New drive wheels now with a hydrostatic drive emergency backup capability.

Homemade Runza!
Seeing Tim Walz order $500 of Runza sandwiches for his Secret Service Detail last week made me crave a Runza. So I found a recipe and we got to work.
Cabbage, onions, seasoned salt, pepper and beef.
Filling ready to be sealed.
Sealed and ready for the oven.
20 minutes later.
They were delicious! Exactly how I remember them in Nebraska.

Another trip around the sun!
Happy 77th birthday Dad! I know it's been hard the last 5 years, but I'm glad you persevered and we get to have you in our lives. Skyler is especially lucky to have his Grandpa living only a half mile away.
Happy Birthday Dad!

A few more from Blues night.
The Cadets worked on character development and that involved a teamwork exercise stacking plastic cups without touching them.
(Photos courtesy of the Squadron photographer, Cadet Santillan).
Explaining to the junior Cadets.
Cup exercise.
Shaking Commander Taylor's hand after ranking up.
Classroom chaos.
Everyone was having a good time.
They are up to 50 Cadets! I think when he joined last year there were 26.

Chief Master Sergeant!
Look who ranked up last night! Way to go kid!
So serious!
He requested that we get the pins in "the same holes" on his jacket! We tried.
Look how tall he is! Proud parent moment.
He's standing behind the lone cadet leading his flight.
