COMBINE!!!!!

We spent the better half of yesterday riding around cutting high moisture corn in the combine at Wayne's farm.  I imagine we'll be out there again today because for the last 2 hours, that's all Skyler has been saying.  "Combine?" "Combine?" "Ride combine?"  The high moisture corn (35%) is ground, packed into pits, fermented, and used as cattle feed on a dairy 50 miles away.
Waiting for the combine.

Super happy!

Still waiting.  We were out there during his "nap time".  He was looking a little tired.

THERE IT IS!!

He was incredibly happy!

Getting ready...

"C'mon Wayne!"

We're moving!

Time to unload first.

And, we're off!

It was probably the greenest corn I've ever seen go through a combine.

Time to unload on the go!

900 bushel grain cart!

Still unloading.

Skyler was mesmerized.

Smile for the camera!

Time to unload again.  The corn was close to 300 bushels per acre.  Incredible!

Grain cart unloading into the truck.
