At last!

Mommy and I got to go mountain biking yesterday after a month of rain.  It felt good to be back out in nature and we both enjoyed ourselves very much.  Thanks to G&G for watching Skyler and wearing him out, he took a 3 hour nap yesterday afternoon!
Both bikes are sporting Surly Knard tires.  Mine are 4.8", hers are 3.8".  :)

Climbing.

Made it!  We normally go down the Orson Smith trail.  Today we climbed it.  That was a bad idea looking back.

The views are nice.

Green!

What?  An excavator?
What's this?

I see an access road across the gully.

It went from high desert to sub tropical in only a few hundred feet.

Rich, tree goodness.

The obligatory Fatty pic on the bridge.
Look what the trail cam picked up in 2011!  Here kitty, kitty...
Waterfall.

Here comes Mommy!

Tiny, existing bridge.

Pool.

Loamy trail goodness.

New bridge a coming!
That span has to be 500 feet.
Cable block for the suspension cables.

Looking to the North.

Golf course down below.

Back on the BST.

4.8" front tire.

4.8" rear tire.

Mommy.

The trusty steed.
