Stansbury Island part 2.

After our hike on the South end of the island, we headed to the North end to see if we could find the beach.

Mommy took this pic and used a filter.  Looking West at the magnesium plant.

End of the road.  A little further up there's a gate that leads to more magnesium operations.

Pink water.

Beach!!  Skyler started drawing in the sand.

Right on the beach are these red sandstone boulders.  Looks like Southern Utah.

Sagebrush on the beach.  There were tiny lizards all over the rocks.

Looking East.  The water is probably a mile away from the ancient beach.

Skyler's drawing of our family.

Panoramic view.

Water way out there.

Skyler found another survey monument.  This one is 80 years newer than the one at the air way marker.

Cave!

Princess truck got dirty!

We had an impromptu tailgate lunch with all the snacks Mommy packed in her bag.

Clear pool West of the road.

Clear water on the shore.

Beautiful!

Skyler found his beach!  What a great photo!

Looking for lizards.

Cows!  They were all over the island.

Brine shrimp harvest sign.
On our way back out, the water was smooth as glass.
