Tractor time!

Skyler got to ride in his wagon last night.  I pulled it with the JD 110. Such a happy little boy!

(Sorry for the shitty video and picture quality, these were taken with Sony devices and not the magic iPhone.)

Skyler's new fan!

I installed a ceiling fan in Skyler's room yesterday. It is discovery themed with the earth and stars. He's mezmorized by it. After the install he would walk down the hall and point at it. Then walk back to the kitchen and repeat. So cute!

Mowing the lawn!

I've always loved to mow the lawn.  There's something about making tall grass short that is just fun. I do remember as a kid always wanting a riding mower.  Specifically a John Deere.  (I guess I've cured myself by owning 5 now.)  Not everyone loves to mow though.  Skyler seems to!  This is the mower that Grandma and Grandpa gave him for his birthday.

The Sprinkler!

Skyler found the sprinkler yesterday. Needless to say it was fascinating!

More birthday because he's only 1 once.

My folks got Skyler an inflatable ass! Not that kind, a donkey! He lit up as soon as we walked into the room. It's still a little technical to get on and off but it (like all his other presents) is a hit. Thanks Grandma & Grandpa!

Playing his piano that my sister gave him. He's really having a good time!

An afternoon with the birthday boy.

Altair got off of work early so we could have an outing with Skyler for his birthday.  We went out to the community of Daybreak by the Oquirrh mountains.  I have to say we were a little disappointed,  not any picnic tables and only one garbage can to be found.  It looks like Wyoming and if you live there, they have H.O.A. fees.  We came away very glad to have the house and location we do.

For you, Dad.  I had never seen the Qwest logo on a manhole before.

The man made lake at Daybreak.

What a good time!

Looking south across the lake.

Maizey looking for field mice.  There were mice everywhere!

Clapping!

Clap! Clap!
Looking west toward Kennecott.  Kennecott land is the parent company behind Daybreak.

Maizey had to cool off in the water even though it says no dogs in the water.  Oops...
