Sunday afternoon at Dimple Dell.
The tornadic winds forced us to walk in Dimple Dell Park in Sandy Sunday afternoon. Skyler wasn't too happy to go, but he had a great time by the time we were finished.

A heart and lungs lesson.
Skyler gave Mommy and me a lesson about the heart and lungs last night. He got to be hooked up to an EKG machine at school yesterday thanks to another student's Mom who's a nurse.

| I hung a whiteboard in his room after school so he could show us what he learned. |

Serengeti trail system in Tooele County.
Taking advantage of the (still) unseasonably warm weather, we headed out to hike in the Western foothills of the Oquirrh Mountains in Tooele County yesterday morning. We initially were headed up Bates Canyon but upon seeing the shoreline of Lake Bonneville, we set out in that direction instead. Skyler's day was complete at the end of our hike with the passing of a Union Pacific freight train. Added bonus; we got to see a Ford Focus RS on the way home.
