Day 2 of the East coast trip.

Start at the bottom, Blogger is a bitch today.

I want this poster!  Rambler Bicycles used Lady Liberty to advertise bikes.

More cutaway info.

Wow!

Visitor's Center was completed in 2019.

Skyler in his new hoodie completing the Jr. Ranger sheet.

Cutaway.

Original torch in the Visitor's Center.

Exiting the ferry.

Sister ship to ours.

It was a bit cool.  I had to buy Skyler a hoodie when we docked.

Cranes.

Birds looking for a bite.

Churning while burning.  Lots of diesel being consumed in the area.

Me getting a pic of Altair taking a selfie.

There she is!

The National Park Service knows what equipment to buy.

Let's fly to the East coast!

Altair finished her Master's in Systems Engineering from Steven's College in Hoboken, New Jersey and decided she wanted to walk in the graduation ceremony.  We flew out on the 17th and returned the 22nd.  I truly enjoyed visiting the East coast and the Cities.

Somewhere across the United States.

Hydraulic drive people mover in D.C.

Nuclear power plant on the approach into Newark.

View from our hotel room on the 5th floor.  The area was nicer than it appeared.

Hudson River waterfront looking towards NYC.

City skyline.

New Jersey is the "Garden State" and it's not by accident.  Greenery everywhere!

Quiet please.

Weary travelers selfie.

Holland Tunnel ventilation tower.

Jersey City skyline.

Getting tired and hungry.

A bit surreal to see the City in person.

The Hudson River is huge!

The best white sauce gyro I've ever had!  Skyler had one too.

Altair had the falafel bowl.  Incredible as well!

More pics to come!
