Urban assault ride.

Or "The tour de Ghetto!"  We rode the Jordan River parkway trail yesterday but we were quite a ways north of where we usually ride.  It was a great ride!  Skyler was well behaved, the weather was nearly perfect and we saw lots of new and exciting things.
Even the golf course is greening up!

River drop/pumping station on the Jordan River.
The trail crosses the UP rail line and we spotted this kick ass old bridge.
Looking East on the rail line.
On our way back South there was a TRAIN!  I pedaled as fast as I could to catch it, this was all we saw, the tail end of the train.

A shot of him while we were riding.  Mommy was looking at the mower on the golf course.
The building in the middle is Radius Engineering.  That's where I met Altair 13 years ago. :)

A twinky little pond with birds.
The train from earlier is now moving closer to the main line.

This new suspension bridge is almost complete.  It's located just East of the West Valley Cultural Center.  Also, right behind the phone company my father retired from.
Crossing the river.  Gorgeous sky and lighting!

We had Jimmy John's sandwiches for lunch.  Skyler decided to eat his like a piece of corn!
