The water day.

It's hot here in Utah!  Like record hot.

Yesterday, I set up his little pool in the backyard.  He was delighted as always and I couldn't get him to get out.
He got in as it was filling.  That was some cold water!
Then, in the evening, we headed out to The Great Salt Lake to watch the sunset for the summer solstice.
We met up with Karen and Matt.

Golden goodness.

Lots of people out here this year!

Skyler had a lunch box and came prepared with his swim suit.

Nice clouds.

Mommy didn't like the place we were at so she headed down the beach a ways.

And everyone got in the lake!

Seagulls overhead.

Kennecott Utah Copper's smokestack.

Going further out.

Sun's down.

The hound was super happy to join us.

Full strawberry moon on the solstice.  First time in 30 years.
