Summer vacation preview.

We dropped Mommy off at the airport Sunday afternoon.  She's on yet another business trip!  After the airport drop-off,  Skyler seemed sad so I suggested that we head out to 7200 West to look for a train or two.  Ding!  He was instantly happy and we lucked out and found an Eastbound.  The mainline through Utah is extra busy since a tunnel collapsed in Oregon last week and trains are being diverted through Salt Lake City as a result of the collapse.

7200 West is a gravel road.  Time to rally the Ford Fiesta!
We got to the crossing just in time to see the train pass.  8 locomotives on front, and a DPU (distributed power unit) in the middle!
#1 track was in service, the #2 track had a train parked on it.
Obligatory crossing pic on #2 track.
