Return to the Mainland.

We got to get back on the ship "The Vanguard" for our 11 mile cruise back.   What a memorable place Anacapa Island is.

Waterline view of the stairs/crane complex.  I read yesterday that the NPS is going to replace the derelict crane with 2 new cranes.  One smaller crane at the dock, and one large one up top in place of the old unit.

Our boat's twin 350hp Cummins QSM11 marine engines could really churn up the surf!
