This is why you go to school kids!

The City decided to seal the cracks in the road today in our neighborhood.  Talk about busywork!

Blowing out the cracks.  Why on earth didn't they use a street sweeper first?!?!

Here comes the crack seal crew.

There was a guy spraying some kind of non-stick fluid on the hot sealant after it was laid down in the cracks.  Note the mail truck getting a free undercarriage undercoating behind the crew!

The City's fancy crack seal machine.  What must that cost?!

The blocks of sealant are incased in polystyrene foam and are simply dropped in and everything floats until it melts.
