Back to nature.

After a 3 week hiatus, we ventured out for our weekly covid19 outdoor activities yesterday morning.  We hiked an unnamed trail that starts where the gas line crosses the road in Butterfield Canyon.

She was so hot and stressed out from the car ride she immediately dove into the stream to cool.

For someone who fought us about even going hiking, he immediately shouted "I love this" as he crossed the makeshift bridge.  Here he is pointing at a "water strider" on the water.

So green and lush.

Creepy tee pees!

A field of blue flax!

Part 2 tomorrow.
