Around the hotel.

We had a most restful night in the hotel.  Everyone slept like babies.

Another view of the fire place.
Glacial rock on this fireplace.
Front desk.  Swiss theme throughout.
Skyler was an early riser despite the 12 mile hike the day before.

Incredible light!

24 horses being led to the corrals.

Cowboys.  Real ones, not the city slickers we have around here.
Quite the sight.

Long line.  Each horse was tied to the next.
Covered entrance.
Our room number.
Interior of our room.  Note the reproduction vintage fan.
Red Jammer busses.

Now riding on an E-450 Ford chassis.

Ford steering wheel and dash.

Modern dual fuel 5.4 liter V8 engine inside.  Built to run on propane or gasoline.
Panoramic view from the parking lot.
Elevator cables.

Original elevator retrofitted with modern controls.

Riveted construction throughout.

Blurry pic of the build plate.
Back to the Ptarmigan for breakfast!

Mine.

Skyler had French toast with huckleberry syrup.

Mommy had a huckleberry scone.

And fruit parfait.

The scone was incredible.
Lobby.

Red Jammer next to a shit box RV.

Red Jammer paint inspired by Mountain Ash Berries.

Looks like it could be 60 years ago.
Off for their 9 hour(!) tour.

Simply stunning.
